Discover Morocco in an unforgettable 16-day journey from the Atlantic coast to the Sahara dunes and back. Start in Casablanca with the iconic Hassan II Mosque, then travel north through Rabat to Tangier, explore the magical Blue City of Chefchaouen, and continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial cities of Meknes and Fes.

From Fes, drive south through Ifrane and the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a camel trek at sunset, a night under the stars in the desert, and cultural encounters with nomadic families and Gnawa music. Then head west to the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, cross saffron country to Taroudant, and finish with a relaxing coastal escape in Essaouira.

End the trip in Marrakech with Majorelle Garden, Jemaa el-Fna vibes, a day in the High Atlas Mountains (Imlil), and a guided discovery of the Red City’s souks and monuments.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Meet your driver at Casablanca airport for a short transfer to your hotel. After check-in and a short rest, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy your first meal together at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Rabat Highlights & Fast Train to Tangier

Drive to Rabat and visit Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Enjoy Kasbah Oudaya and its panoramic views. After lunch, take the Moroccan fast train to Tangier and settle in for the night.

Day 3: Tangier Guided Tour → Chefchaouen

Start with a guided tour of Tangier, including the Kasbah and the American Legation Museum. Lunch on the way, then drive to Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen (Blue City + Sunset Viewpoint)

Enjoy a full day in Chefchaouen: explore the blue medina and its dreamy alleys. In the late afternoon, walk to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint for an amazing sunset view over the town.

Day 5: Volubilis + Meknes → Fes

Drive south and visit Volubilis, Morocco’s most important Roman ruins. Continue to Meknes to see Bab El Mansour and Hri Souani (granaries and stables). Arrive in Fes for the night.

Day 6: Fes Guided City Tour

At 9:00 AM, enjoy a guided tour of Fes: Royal Palace entrance, panoramic viewpoints, ceramic crafts village, and the ancient medina (Fes El Bali). Visit Al Karaouine area, a madrasa, and finish at the famous leather souk and tannery.

Day 7: Fes → Merzouga (Sahara) + Camel Trek

Your longest drive south: stop in Ifrane, pass cedar forests, Errachidia and the Ziz Valley, then Erfoud (fossils). Arrive in Merzouga and ride camels to the camp before sunset. Dinner and stargazing in the dunes.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert Day (Culture + 4x4 + Nomads)

Return to a local hotel for your second night in the desert. Visit a Gnawa family and learn about their music. Enjoy lunch facing the dunes (Berber pizza), then explore Erg Chebbi by 4×4 and stop for tea with a nomadic family.

Day 9: Merzouga → Ait Ben Haddou (via Todra Gorges)

Head west toward Ait Ben Haddou, driving through oases and desert valleys. Enjoy a stop at the high cliffs of Todra Gorges. In the evening, take a 1-hour walk through the village of Ait Ben Haddou and settle in for the night.

Day 10: Ait Ben Haddou → Taroudant (Saffron Country)

Drive to Taroudant via Tazenakht and Taliouine, famous for saffron production. Arrive in Taroudant, a historic caravan-trade town with a calm local atmosphere.

Day 11: Taroudant → Essaouira (Coastal Route)

Day 12: Essaouira (Harbor Sunrise + Fish Market + Skala)

Day 13: Essaouira → Marrakech (Majorelle + Jemaa el-Fna)

Day 14: High Atlas Mountains Day Trip (Imlil)
